Welcome to Caprulo (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website caprulo.com (the “Site”) and purchasing our custom prints and embroidered caps, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”). Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. Our Services & Print-on-Demand Model
- Custom Orders: Every design sold on this Site is custom-printed or embroidered to order. Producing our prints and caps on demand instead of in bulk helps us minimise excess stock and reduce waste.
- Third-Party Fulfillment: We partner with Gelato, a third-party print-on-demand supplier, to manufacture and ship your products directly to you. By placing an order, you acknowledge that your order production and shipping are handled by third-party logistics.
2. Product Information & Disclaimers
- Cap Photography: Images of embroidered caps displayed on this Site are photographs of actual, physical products. Slight colour variations may occur due to studio lighting or your monitor settings. Tiny variations in stitch alignment are a natural characteristic of the embroidery process and are not considered defects.
- Artwork Previews: Product images for our prints are intended to show how the final artwork looks. Because physical ink on paper behaves differently than light on a digital screen, the colours and brightness of the printed artwork may vary slightly from the preview on your device.
- Framing Options: We offer our prints in both unframed and framed options. Please review your selection carefully at checkout. Unframed prints do not include a frame or mounting hardware. Framed prints will be delivered assembled in the frame style and material selected at the time of purchase.
3. Pricing and Payment
- Currency: All prices are listed in GBP (£) and exclude applicable shipping fees unless stated otherwise.
- VAT/Taxes: We operate as a sole trader and are not currently registered for VAT; therefore, VAT is not added to your order.
- Adjustments: We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.
- Payment Security: Payments are processed securely via our third-party payment gateways. We do not store your payment information. For more details on how we handle your personal data during payment, please review our Privacy Policy.
4. Production and Shipping
- Production Times: Because items are created on demand, production takes 2–5 business days to print your art or stitch your cap before being dispatched.
- Shipping Times: UK Shipping takes 2–4 business days via reliable local couriers once dispatched. Estimated delivery dates are estimates only and are not strictly guaranteed.
- Tracking: We will email you a tracking link the second your order leaves the studio so you can follow it right to your door.
- Address Accuracy: You are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address. We are not liable for orders delivered to the wrong address due to customer error.
5. Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds
- No Cancellations: Because production begins automatically via Gelato shortly after an order is placed, we cannot guarantee cancellations or modifications once an order is submitted.
- Exclusion from the Right to Cancel: Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, the standard 14-day statutory right to cancel or return goods does not apply to items made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. Because each piece is specially made just for you when you order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges if you change your mind, or select the wrong size or colour.
- Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items: In accordance with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, if your item arrives damaged, defective, or with a manufacturing mistake, you are entitled to a remedy. Please drop us a friendly email at hello@caprulo.com within 14 days of delivery.
- How to Claim: Please include your order number and a clear photo showing the issue. Upon verification, we will gladly arrange for a brand-new replacement to be sent free of charge, or issue a full refund to your original payment method if preferred.
6. Intellectual Property
- Ownership: All designs, artwork, graphics, logos, and text displayed on this Site are the intellectual property of Caprulo or our licensors and are protected by UK and international copyright laws.
- Restricted Use: You may not copy, reproduce, resell, or exploit any of our artwork or designs for commercial purposes without our express written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Caprulo and its third-party fulfilment partners (Gelato) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products or website.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
